Past and Present:

1974 - The former 3-Year Faculty of History-Geography became a department within the Faculty of Philology and History;
1990 - The academic unit became the Faculty of Letters and History;
2000 – The Faculty of Letters and the Faculty of History, Philosophy, Geography separate from each other;
2008 - The Faculty changed its name into the Faculty of Social Sciences.
