Past and Present:

1977 - The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was established on the basis of a State Council Decree, and it comprised the following specialisations: Technology of Machine Construction, Civil, Industrial and Agricultural Engineering and Equipment for Construction Material-Related Equipment; Other specialisations were added: Machines and Tools (1978), Road vehicles (1990), Agricultural Machinery and Installations (1990), Economic Engineering (1993) and Transport and Traffic Engineering (2005).
