The didactical activity of the department endorses:

- teaching and seminarizing the disciplines of mathematics  from the educational plans of the faculties: Automation, Computers and Electronics, Faculty of Electrotechnics, Faculty of Mechanics, Faculty of Engineering in Electro-mechanics, Environment and Industrial Informatics, Faculty of Physics, Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Horticulture, Faculty of Letters  .

 - supporting the activities of post educational studies, master studies, doctoral studies organized by the beneficiary faculties, offering courses  on special chapters of mathematics, demanded by these faculties.

    - assuring the support for a good functioning of all forms of education, including the long distance and post universitary one.
