LEARNING AGREEMENT

The subjects offered by each faculty are described in the ECTS guidebook of the respective faculty. Thus, the coordinator from the mother institution will decide upon the subjects the ERASMUS student will have to take in the host university, i.e. the University of Craiova. The programme will be established according to ECTS procedures, so that the visiting students should get the number of credits he/she would get at the mother university. Each semester is allocated 30 credits, divided among the subjects in that semester.
A document called "Learning Agreement" is concluded between the visiting student, the mother institution and the host university.

ECTS

European Transfer Credits System offers a method of measure and comparison of the students' grades and how they can be transferred between institutions. The system facilitates academic recognition between the participating institutions by using mechanisms and measuring units generally applicable. ECTS is currently in use in most of the Faculties of Craiova and the students who participate in international exchanges have all the advantages of the system.
