CURRENT TEACHING ACTIVITIES

Nuclear Physics, compulsory discipline, an introductory approach of basic ideas and concepts in nuclear physics addressed to the students in the second year of studies from the Faculty of Physics, University of Craiova
Main topics: nuclear constituents and characteristics, alpha-decay, beta-decay, gamma-decay, liquid drop model, Fermi-gas model, nuclear shell model.

Theory and modeling of instabilities in plasma, compulsory discipline, addressed to the students in the second year of Mastership cycle “Theoretical Physics” from the Faculty of Physics, Craiova. University of Craiova
Main topics: Fluid equations for low frequency phenomena in fusion plasma, fluid analysis of low frequency modes driven by inhomogeneities, kinetic description of low frequency modes (universal instability, interchange instability drift Alfvén waves, ballooning modes, kink modes).

Meteorology of atmospheric boundary layer, compulsory discipline, addressed to the students in the third year of studies from the Science of Environment, Faculty of Physics, University of Craiova
