Using DEVS for Multiscale SIMULATION of sugar Crystallisation

ABSTRACT

A new method of simulation – event driven simulation - was used to perform multiphase simulations of the crystallisation process in a lab scale vacuum pan. The first results where qualitatively correct but the implementation must be improved in order to provide quantitative accuracy.
