LACTIC BACTERIA STUDY IN THE BANU MARACINE

ABSTRACT

 

One hundred twelve lactic acid bacteria streams have been isolates from the Banu Mărăcine musts and red wines. The streams have been identified as belonging to Lactobacillus (Lactobacillus plantarum – 10 species, Leuconostoc (Leuconostoc mesenteroides - 9 species Leuconostoc oenos - 93 species),  (Bergey’s Manual of Systematic Bacteriology, 1986).
