THE LEAF EPIDERMIS STUDY OF SAME HALOPHYTE SPECIES FROM OLTENIA – ROMANIA (III)

SUMMARY

 

                This paper contains the results of a study on epidermis and leaf epidermis productions at 5 halophytes species of Oltenia. The epidermis is made of polygonal cells, without spaces between them, which most of the time contain inside salt mineral crystals. The epidermis cells walls of same species are straight, and at others a little bit sinuous. The existent stomata as through the epidermis at all 5 species is of anomocitic and biperigen types.  There are no epidermis hairs at all analyzed species.
