ABSTRACT

The most spread viral diseases in Romania at the stony species are: plum pox (PPV), tree dwarfing (PDV), chlorotic and necrotic ring spot (PNRSV) and ring mosaic (ApMV, PRPM), trees’ decline (SEDV, PDM), wood striation (ASP) and stalk furrowing (ASGV) for seedy tree species.

The main viral diseases for apple tree, plum tree and nut tree have been diagnosed by biological analysis (indexing), by using sensitive indicating plants and by serological analysis(DAS-ELISA), by using high performance equipment.
