CONTRIBUTIONS REGARDING THE VEGETATIVE PROPAGATION

OF SOME FLOWER SPECIES WITH SMALL HEIGHT DECORATIVE

SUMMARY

 

The reduced size plants include micro, mini and proper reduced size plants, whose origin can be: genetic, specific, cultural. The present paper presents the results regarding the vegetative propagation of the following species: Pellionia pulchra, Pilea spruceana, Hemigraphis repanda, Peperomia caperata, Peperomia fenzlei, Peperomia caulibarbis, Hedera helix 'Monstruosa', Cryptanthus acaulis, Cryptanthus acaulis var. ruber.

The rooting duration and the quality of the cuttings rooted at the studied species were monitored, in three kinds of media: peat and sand; sand; peat and perlite.
